PHIL CALKINS

Phil Calkins is a solo 12-string acoustic guitarist who has been bringing great music, fun, and a lively atmosphere to audiences since the 1970s, when he first picked up the guitar as a teenager. Inspired by artists like Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, The Beatles, Eagles, Billy Joel, and Elton John, Phil developed a style rooted in the rich, resonant sound of the 12-string and the timeless energy of classic rock.

With decades of experience, Phil has played bars, clubs, private parties, and weddings, creating the kind of music that gets people singing along, tapping their feet, and out on the dance floor. Along the way, he has released a solo album, been featured on country radio, and created three children's music CDs. Today, he continues performing throughout the Midwest, sharing great songs, lasting memories, and the unmistakable sound of live acoustic music.
